The TUK Grade Calculator ("the Service") is an independent study tool operated by El-Bethel (contact: el-bethel@buyanzi.com). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of The Technical University of Kenya.

Account information — your email address (used for sign-in codes), full name and university registration number (entered during onboarding or provided by an administrator).

Academic data — the unit marks, elective selections and calculator preferences you enter. This is used solely to compute your projected averages and degree classification.

Payment information — the payee name you submit when confirming an M-Pesa payment. We do not collect or store card details or M-Pesa PINs; payments are verified manually against our own transaction records.

Technical data — standard authentication session data required to operate your account securely.

To operate the Service: authenticate you, persist your marks across devices, compute your projected results, and manage your access subscription.

To communicate with you: sign-in codes by email, and payment confirmation receipts where you request them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your data is stored on Supabase (managed PostgreSQL database and authentication) and emails are delivered through Brevo. Both providers process data under their own security and compliance programmes. Some of your marks may also be cached in your own browser's local storage to protect against connection loss; clearing your browser data removes this cache.

You can see and edit only your own marks. The operator's administrators can view students' saved marks and computed aggregates for the purposes of support, verification and service administration, and every administrative action is recorded in an internal audit log.

Your account and marks are retained while your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated academic data at any time by emailing el-bethel@buyanzi.com, and we will action verified requests within a reasonable period.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting us at el-bethel@buyanzi.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
